With heaps of experience in sales and marketing, Mark Van Der Kinderen, Jan Heiremans, and Matthias Goossens acknowledged the considerate effort required to organise events. With InviteDesk they now offer a no-nonsense event marketing platform for physical, virtual, and hybrid events. Together, they built the virtual “Present & Connect” platform.
In the summer of 2020, InviteDesk contacted Digital Herd and requested us to build the webinar platform “Present & Connect”. The client requirements went well beyond a simple web application: they wanted us to build a platform offering chat functionality, and the possibility to host webinars and integrate a plethora of interacting components. Their focus was interactivity and networking: chats that in the past had taken place at the coffee machine or in reception rooms now had to be made possible virtually.
We convinced InviteDesk with a substantial concept encompassing our know-how and experience. Based on the proof of concept, InviteDesk placed its faith in us to kick off this challenging project. While the client had clear wireframes and designs, they also dared to adapt their requirements along the way. Using our flexibility and agile operational methods, we modified the product for a wonderful end result. We guided InviteDesk through each step and worked hand-in-hand with them to obtain a fantastic end result. This project exemplifies the way in which Digital Herd provides comprehensive guidance, starting from analysis, through development, support, and project management.
After a previous bad experience with a software vendor, we had our doubts about qualitative software development. Fortunately, Digital Herd proved us otherwise. They have once again convinced us of this possibility. They have not only done this by delivering quality code, but they also really thought along with us about the business case. As a result, they not only made proposals about the technical approach, but also business and functionally oriented. That was an enormous added value for us.
