§ 01 Who we are

Digital Herd is the controller of your personal data. This means that we determine how and for which purposes your personal data is processed. We are a digital asset management (DAM) consultancy: we implement, migrate, integrate and optimise DAM platforms — such as Sitecore Content Hub — and we build our own products for the DAM ecosystem, including Insights Hub and Release Manager.

§ 02 Which data do we collect?

We only process the data that is necessary to carry out our work correctly. These data are used to fulfil our contractual obligations, to perform our work properly, to answer your questions and to improve our services. The following data may be processed by us (non-exhaustive list):

• ·Billing details (billing address, VAT number)

• ·IBAN and financial institution (for payments)

• ·Data you provide to us in correspondence, via our contact form or during a project

§ 03 For which purposes do we process your data?

Your personal data is treated strictly confidentially and is used only for the following purposes:

• ·Entering into and performing a contract or engagement (including implementation, migration, integration and optimisation projects)

• ·Providing information about our services and products and tailoring them to your needs

• ·Statistical purposes
• ·Improving our website and our products (Insights Hub, Release Manager)

§ 04 On which legal basis is your data processed?

Your data is never kept longer than strictly necessary, or as long as the law obliges us to keep it.

§ 05 Which data is shared with third parties?

We only share your data where necessary for the operation of our business or where required by law, for example with:

• ·Software providers whose tools we use to run our business (e.g. CRM, email and communication tools)

• ·Platform partners (such as Sitecore, CHILI publish and Orangelogic), only in the context of a client engagement and under a data processing agreement

Data processed on behalf of our clients (see § 02) is shared or transferred only in accordance with the client's instructions and the applicable data processing agreement.

§ 06 How is your data protected?

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure of your data, and we require the same from the third parties we work with.

§ 07 How long is your personal data kept?

Your personal data is kept for a maximum of 7 years, or as long as required by law (for example tax and accounting retention obligations), whichever is longer.

§ 09 Cookies

Our website uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies for ease of use and statistics. On your first visit we ask for your consent via a cookie banner. You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings.

We may amend this privacy policy. The most recent version is always published on our website.
